The book Cezeri ve Teyyibesi, from the Ulumu’l-Qur’an series, discusses the fundamental principles of Qur'anic education and the science of recitation. It focuses on the importance of the student, the teacher and the text itself in the process of acquiring knowledge. The work also explains the importance of sincerity of intention in Qur'anic instruction and the qualities a teacher must possess. It describes methods such as writing, memorisation, recitation and certification that were developed to preserve the Qur'anic text.
