In the book Public Finance Theory II: The Microeconomic Effects of the Budget, the author re-examines the role of public finance theory in the context of economic development and discusses the functions of fiscal policy, particularly with regard to economies at different levels of development. While acknowledging the multifaceted nature of budget policy, the author considers how the functions of stability, resource allocation and income distribution can be reinterpreted to align with development objectives, and explores the role of economic growth within the framework of public finance theory.
